The next PKA Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of Rt 98 between Trout Road and Dog Track Road will be on Saturday, October 19, 2019, beginning at 8 AM. Volunteers meet in the parking lot in front of the Greer’s CashSaver supermarket at the corner of Rt. 98 and Bauer Road. With six or seven volunteers, the cleanup of the two mile stretch of Rt. 98 takes about three hours. Please help out if you can!
The Perdido Key Association, Friends of Pensacola State Parks, and the Florida State Parks are hosting a cleanup of Perdido Key beaches and the Old River waterfront from 8 AM until Noon on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Volunteers for this International Coastal Cleanup Day event can meet at the Perdido Key State Park West Use Area to pick up material and receive information on their assigned portion of beach. Please “come to our beach” and help keep it among the most beautiful in the world!
